Swiss motorcycle racer Jason Dupasquier has died from injuries sustained in a crash at the Italian grand prix.
Dupasquier, 19, fell at the Mugello circuit during qualifying in the Moto3 class on Saturday.
He was involved in a serious "multi-rider incident" with Ayumu Sasaki and Jeremy Alcoba and was airlifted to a hospital in Florence.
Officials announced on Sunday that he had died.
The up and coming rider started out in supermoto and was a multiple Swiss national champion.
He switched to circuit racing in 2016 and made his debut in Moto3 last year, joining Germany's Pruestel GP team.

Dupasquier had made a strong start to this year's series, going into the Italian Grand Prix in tenth place, with 27 points from the opening five races.
"On behalf of the entire MotoGP family, we send our love to his team, his family and loved ones. You will be sorely missed, Jason. Ride in peace," said a statement from race organisers.
Pruestel said: "We're devastated, and at this time all of our thoughts are with Jason's family. You'll be sorely missed and never forgotten."

Sunday's races at Mugello went ahead as scheduled, but fellow Swiss racer Tom Luthi decided not to take part in the Moto2 race.
Riders in the premier MotoGP class also paid tribute to Dupasquier before their race, with Fabio Quartararo holding a Swiss flag after his victory.
