Ghanaian defender Jonas Adjetey will finish the 2024/25 season as a league winner after Basel claimed the Swiss Super League title with games to spare.
Basel were confirmed as league champions on Sunday evening following Servette's stalemate with Young Boys earlier in the day.
The Ghanaian centre-back has been a huge figure for the Swiss side in the league this season as they command an 11-point lead at the top with three games to go until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has featured in 29 games this campaign, with 27 of them coming as a starter, while he has made two appearances off the bench.
Adjetey has also contributed to nine clean sheets in the process while averaging 2.0 tackles per game as well as 5.2 clearances per game, one of the highest in the division.
With the league already secured, the defender will also hope his side can claim the domestic cup in addition when they face lower-tier side, Biel-Bienne 1896, in the final on June 1.
