Joy Business will today outdoor a public forum on developing reliable statistical data for national development at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.The Statistics Forum which is in partnership with the World Bank is also aimed at providing the public a deeper understanding on national statistics and how to improve its computation.Head of Joy Business, Kojo Opong –Nkrumah said, “Every business needs data; some of the date are national data that businesses need for their planning purposes.”The essence of the forum, he said, “is to give us a common platform to have a conversation about the kind of data we have and we don’t have in this country, what we need to get more data so that for planning purposes on the public front and the private front we get things better.”The programme, which will take place at the Alisa Hotel this afternoon will be live on Joy FM after the Business Report at 1 pm.
