Ghana’s superstation Joy 99.7 FM is set to bring unparalleled fun into the homes of its cherished listeners, with the introduction of its all-new show - Joy FM Family Pop Quiz.

The Joy FM Family Pop Quiz show is a family fun time on the radio, where families come together to answer simple but witty and spontaneous questions on general knowledge.

The show is expected to be thoroughly engaging, with its seemingly easy yet elusive nature of questions, prepared for the minds of almost all members of the family including the children.

The competitive show will admit three vibrant families, each represented by three members, engaging in a contest of three exciting rounds. Each family gets the opportunity to showcase their depth of knowledge in many areas, including key calendar moments such as Easter and Christmas.

The fun and excitement of the show are not limited to in-studio guests, as it opens its borders for the audience to participate as well.

Emerging winners of each episode of the Joy FM Family Pop Quiz shall be rewarded, while audiences who answer questions correctly over the phones get rewarded too.

The Joy FM Family Pop Quiz is a live show that will be held in the studio of Joy FM every Sunday, starting May 1, 2022, from 3 pm to 4 pm, with renowned broadcaster Lexis Bill as its host.

Lexis Bill comes on board as the quizmaster and can’t wait to get the show underway. According to him, Joy FM Family Pop Quiz will not only “intellectually stimulate minds of participants, but will be exciting, entertaining, and most importantly create better family ties."

Programs Manager of Joy FM, Edem Knight-Tay, buttressed his point, noting that the Joy FM Family Pop Quiz promises to “be fun, witty and will bring about the deepening sense of family ties. It will be hilarious when primary school kids can answer questions that parents fail to answer during the show.”

She also touched on one beautiful aspect of the show, hinting, “there’s going to be the ‘Joy FM Pop Quiz Family of the Week’, which comes with a family artwork and a bit of family story, that will be trending all-week.”
