The first week of the English Premier League was full of action and we anticipate a great follwup from Saturday. For the FPL lovers, the most selected player was Romelu Lukaku and it wasn’t surprising that he was the most captained.
Moving into Game week 2 of the Fantasy Premier league, here are five tips to earn you a lot of points.
1. Southampton players are a bargain

First and foremost, you may want to consider bringing in a player from Southampton as they have the easiest first five fixtures which they are almost certain to make maximum points from. You can get a defender from them for less money and still get your clean sheet points.
2. Everton players can hurt you

Again, please try to stay away from picking players from Everton. They have the toughest run of games starting with Manchester City on Monday night. They play Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester United after they play the Cityzens on Monday. It will be a great risk. You can still keep tabs on them because Ronald Koeman has made decent signings who will score more points after game week five.
3. Point deduction is a slow killer

Now you may have decided to make extra additions to your team aside the one free transfer we have every week. Look at it this way that the minuses you take now can affect your position at the end of the season so be very careful in making that decision. Unless it is very necessary I will advise that you avoid transferring in a player for points deduction.
4. West Brom defenders will give clean sheet points

Also looking at how Tony Pulis’ side plays and sets up, you may want to think about having one West Brom player in your squad. They are defensively compact so it is highly likely to get points for keeping a clean sheet and his team scores most goals from set pieces. West Brom boast of aerially dominant players and they are most likely to score from another set piece this weekend.
5. You can save your free transfer

It may be difficult to do this one but if you believe in your team and there are no injuries, you might as well wait one more week to have two free transfers. This way, you can have an extra transfer to use in case of any emergencies.
