Takoradi-based JRA Cosmetics has won the best Agro Cosmetics Producer of the Year at this year's Ghana Agriculture and Agro-Processing Company of Awards.
The event that took place at Movenpick Hotel in Accra last Friday, brought together players of the agriculture and agro processing industry.
The awards organised by KN Unique Communication is an annual event to recognise outstanding companies and individuals in the Ghanaian agricultural and agro-processing sectors, that promote standards, excellence, innovation in the agribusiness and stewardship.

The organisers believe the Ghanaian economy has become increasingly reliant on agriculture and agro produce to sustain growth and development and the industry players ought to be recognised.
The JRA company established by Jane Reason Akushika Ahadzie after receiving the award thanked the organisers for honour.
The CEO also promised to expand her business and offer her customers with more innovative brands to meet their needs.

Mrs Akushika Ahadzie said her company which started as a small scale enterprise has grown into a full-fledged company with innovative and widely acceptable brand products creating jobs for the many unemployed youths in Ghana and Africa.
JRA Cosmetics has over 35 registered and certified products from the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Ghana Standard Authority and other regulatory bodies.
The company has its own wholesale outlets across the country for convenient distribution for wholesalers and easy accessibility by customers.
