Super Eagles Head Coach Stephen Keshi has stated that he is not too particular about the 4-1 score line recorded by his team in Tuesday’s international friendly against the Stallions of Burkina Faso but instead he is happy with the chance to see more of some of the players that hitherto has not enjoyed enough playing time.
Futaa.com reports that the Big Boss at post match conference played more emphasis on how Tuesday’s test match accorded him the opportunity to see more of the not ‘too established’ players rather than the final result secured.
Main deal
It’s not about score line; it’s about understanding what we want to do in the future, giving some other players the opportunity to play... I wanted to see more of Nsofor, Shola, James and some other players too.
So it’s not about the score line, it’s about maintaining our shape in the team and the tactical play. Coach Keshi told futaa.com after Tuesday’s game.
Double starters
Futaa.com reports that only four players that started the Malawi game were again handed starting role in the Kaduna friendly.
The quartet includes Ogenyi Onazi, Azubieke Egwueke, Elderson Echiejile and Efe Ambrose.
