Petroleum Minister Emmanuel Armah Kofi Bauh has asked the reconstituted board of Ghana Gas Company to ensure that there is enough gas to power the country’s generating plants.
Mr. Buah made the call when he sworn-in five new board members of the Ghana National Gas Company.
The board is chaired by John Armstrong Yao Klingo, replacing Dr. Kwasi Botchwey who recently stepped down from the board.
Other members of the board include: Chief Executive of GNPC, Alex Mould, Chief Executive of Ghana Gas, George Sipa Yankey, a representative from the Ministry of Petroleum, Vivian Gadzokpo, and the Paramount chief of Eastern Ezema Traditioal Area, Awulae Amihene Kpanyinii III.
Mr. Buah asked the board to work hard to address the current legacy debts facing the company.
