Former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has urged party faithful to ensure they vote to retain the NDC in power come 2012.
She is also asked them to take active part in next year’s elections as required by the constitution.
She was addressing party supporters at the Nima Cluster of schools here in Accra.
Mrs Rawlings admonished the residents to register with the Electoral Commission if the registration exercise begins, insisting they cannot be part of the decision making process if they do not have a vote.
The comments could be the first public endorsement of her main rival, Prof. John Mills after a tense leadership contest earlier this year.
