Ousted General Secretary of of the Industrial and Commercial Workers’ Union (ICU) of Ghana, will know his fate on Monday.
The court hearing the legal battle over his removal from office has set Monday August 20, as judgment day.
The contesting parties were in court on Thursday to debate over the constitutionality or otherwise of the forceful removal of Mr. Kpoh from office. He has served as General Secretary of the ICU for seventeen years.
Mr. Kpoh was removed from office by the Executive Committee of the ICU which has since replaced him with an interim management team.
Mr. Kpoh is challenging the action in court.
Meanwhile, the police have been deployed at the offices of the ICU to protect life and property.
Some members of the ICU wearing red arm bands and singing war songs have converged on the premises of the Union to prevent Mr. Kpoh from entering his office.
