The bodies of two women suspected to have been murdered have been found in two separate locations in Kumasi.
According to Luv News’ Erastus Asare Donkor, one of the victims, Bertha Osei Arkaah, a mother of five was found dead at Atwima Boko, with several deep wounds to the back and under the breast.
The other incident happened at Offinso-Aboso, where the victim, a Seventy year old woman had her throat slit by her, a son who is reported to have been discharged from psychiatric hospital in Accra.
According to the Police in Kumasi, the suspect who had earlier threatened family members with a machete, died after being shot in the leg by the police who were trying to apprehend him.
The family of Seventy year old victim alleged that the suspect, Daniel , who was psychiatric patient, ran out of his medications and started behaving in a funny way before committing the act.
