President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, SWAG and a veteran sports commentator Mr Kwabena Yeboah and a number of ex Black Stars players on Tuesday congregated at the Silicon House production studio to support the official launch of a free-to-air TV channel.
SCOOORE HD brings live football, highlights, news and insights from top international leagues, cups and tournaments to SES HD PLUS Ghana.
The introduction of the programme is a partnership between SES HD PLUS Ghana and Sportainment Media Group, to bring SCOOORE HD on channel 151 of the HD +Ghana direct to home ( DTH) platform.

Scooore HD which will operate as a 24-hour Channel, targets fans of football from around the world at no extra cost to existing customers receiving the HD +Ghana service.
Mrs. Adelaide Abbiw-Williams, CEO of SES HD PLUS Ghana said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of SCOOORE, a world-class free-to-air Football Channel created to connect Football fans in typical Ghanaian homes more deeply with thrilling live matches from around the world. “

HD Ghana offers compelling features such as the PVR function on the HD+ Ghana Decoder; the ability to watch TV on the go with free data every month; to control to catch up on shows aired in the last 448 hours on the My HD PLUS mobile app; the first 4K channel in Ghana; as we as the introduction of multi-feed function to allow active HD +customers to choose between two live video feeds on single HD+ Ghana channel.
HD+ Ghana decoders can be purchased at all authorised HD+ Ghana dealers or Electroland outlets across the country and activated on any mobile network by dialing *879# to the HD viewing experience.
Existing HD+ customers can continue to enjoy the HD+FeeliFeeli Experience by purchasing a package via the HD+USSD code for GHc35 a month. Customers who opt for quarterly and yearly payments will be able to enjoy further discount from the standard monthly package, using the same USSD short code.
Some of the old Black Stars players who were present are; Augustine Arhinful, Nii Odartey Lamptey, Fatau Dawda, Ibrahim Tanko, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Godwin Atram.
Senior sports writers and administrators in the likes Mr Kojo Fianu, Charles Osei Asibey, Kojo Moshosho, Mavis Amanor of Asempa Sports were also present.
