Labadi Beach Hotel is set for a new phase of growth, with management announcing plans for fresh investments and developments as the iconic Accra hotel marks 35 years of operations.

The anniversary was commemorated with a health walk from the hotel to the Independence Square, bringing together management, staff, and other stakeholders.

Speaking during the celebrations, Managing Director of Labadi Beach Hotel, David Eduaful, said the hotel was preparing for the next stage of its development through new investments.

“I want to assure you that we are positioning Labadi for the next chapter, with investments that will bring new developments and further enhance the experience we offer our guests,” he said.

Head of Marketing at Labadi Beach Hotel, Ekua Zara Ghartey-Tsagli, said guests could expect a different experience as the planned developments take shape.

She said the focus would not only be on upgrading the hotel's facilities but also on preserving the identity and heritage that have defined Labadi over the years.

“We want our guests to experience a different Labadi as we move into this new chapter,” she said.

The anniversary celebrations also provided an opportunity for the hotel to reflect on its 35-year journey and its place within Ghana's hospitality industry.

Management said the milestone was being used not only to celebrate the hotel's history but also to prepare for its future growth.

The hotel said its plans would seek to balance new developments with the preservation of its longstanding identity and connection to Ghanaian history and heritage.

Thirty-five years after opening its doors, Labadi Beach Hotel says it is looking beyond the anniversary milestone, with plans to invest in new developments while creating fresh experiences for guests.
