A new tape recording has surfaced in the ensuing vikileaks controversy, this time involving a person suspected to be the driver of former Deputy Communications Minister Victoria Hamah.
In a case of privately recording a person known to serially record private conversations, Lawrence Quayeson is heard on this new tape boasting of how he recorded his boss.
The new tape was aired on Asempa FM's political talk show programme Ekosii-Sen, Tuesday.
Speaking in a local Ghanaian dialect, Ga, Quayeson in the recorded telephone interview told the person on the other line, that he had succeeded in recording the then deputy Communications Minister ridiculing her colleague Deputy Minister Rachel Appoh as an ugly person.
Quayeson further reported Victoria Hamah as saying that she would not have anything to do with Rachel again.
"I recorded all", he boasted when he was asked if he recorded the conversation.
It is believed the person to whom Quayeson was having the recorded telephone conversation with was Ayitey Basty whose name popped up shortly after the controversial vikileaks tape.
Quayeson told XYZ he had been contracted by Rachel Appoh through Ayitey Basty to record his boss Victoria Hamah with a promise of US$2,000 and a US visa if he succeeded: an allegation Ayitey Basty denied.
Shortly after granting this interview, the embattled driver made a u-turn in another interview on Joy FM, claiming Rachel Appoh never contracted him to record Victoria Hamah and that the comments he made on Radio XYZ were made under duress.
Quayeson is not available for comment on this new tape. He is reported as having recorded Victoria Hamah for over three months.
Part of the recorded tapes went viral last week Thursday and led to the dismissal of Victoria Hamah on Friday.
