Rafael Leao scored as AC Milan moved top of Serie A with a narrow victory against Lazio, who were denied a penalty deep into second-half stoppage time.
The Portuguese slotted home from close range after latching on to Fikayo Tomori's ball across the box six minutes into the second half.
With the match drawing to a close, Alessio Romagnoli's shot hit the arm of Strahinja Pavlovic, but following a video assistant referee (VAR) check, a penalty was not awarded, much to the fury of the Lazio players.
Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri was shown a red card during the five minutes it took for the decision to be made as both sides awaited the outcome.
The result means Milan go top, one point above Roma who host defending champions Napoli on Sunday (19:45 GMT) while Lazio remain eighth.
