All is set for the second edition of the annual inter-halls basketball competition on the University of Ghana, Legon dubbed “LEGON DUNKS 2010”.
The event which is part of the 58th Legon Hall Week celebrations comes off on Thursday 18th March 2010 from 2pm and will feature all the traditional halls and hostels of the university.
There will be a curtain-raiser game between Accra Polytechnic and Institute of Professional Studies.
Legon Dunks 2009 attracted over One thousand fans and with expectations reaching fever-pitch, the 2010 edition is expected to attract twice the number at the main university basketball court.
Participating halls and hostels are Legon Hall, Mensah Sarbah Hall, Akuafo Hall, Commonwealth Hall, Evandy Hostel, Bani Hostel, International Student Hostel and Pentagon Hostel.
Legon Dunks 2010 is sponsored by TIGO with support from Voltic Water, Indomie and Forever Easy Sanitary Pad and produced by Rite Multimedia, leaders in basketball development in Ghana.
