Ghanaian midfielder Leonard Owusu ended his search for his first goal of the season over the weekend in Fredrikstad's game against HamKam.
Owusu scored the equaliser in the 1-1 draw at home as his side avoided defeat on matchday 24 of the 2025 Norwegian season.
The 28-year-old started the game from the bench as the club hoped to end their losing streak after back-to-back defeats in the league to Brann and Oslo.
HamKam scored first in the game, taking the lead in the 44th minute, just before the halftime whistle.
Owusu was introduced at the start of the second half of the encounter.
However, it took him 25 minutes to find the back of the net as he scored from a rebound to draw his side level.
Despite their late pressure, Fredrikstad were unable to get a winner as the game ended 1-1.
The fixture also saw Maxwell Woledzi feature for the home side, playing all minutes available.
Fredrikstad currently sit 10th on the league table with just six games until the end of the season.
