9:02 am: Elsewhere, Accra Hearts of Oak trainer, Kim Grant has strong belief that his side will be successful at the end of the impending Ghana Premier League season. He said "I will try and win games. That is my objective, we will try to win and hopefully we will bring success.” Hearts will start their premier league campaign with a clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium.

10: 18 am: Former Accra Lions forward Benedict Wobenu is expected to join AshantiGold SC ahead of the impending season according to reports. Wobenu who has been training with the Miners since last week is seen as a likely replacement should prolific striker Shafiu Mumuni depart during the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old earned an invitation to the Black Stars B in 2017 after excelling for Accra Lions FC in a test game.
3:00 pm: Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba and his representatives have rejected the club's Gh₵ 80,000 two-year offer according to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
The offer presented to the Burkinabe is an improvement of his old contract of GH₵ 60,000 for two years [ GH₵ 30,000 a year]. Yacouba and representatives are expected to negotiate for the second time with Kotoko in the coming days if is possible to reach a new deal.
