Nigerian league side, Dolphins FC, have a huge advantage to advance to the next stage of the MTN/CAF Confederation Cup tournament, after their hosts, Asante Kotoko scored an own goal in a second leg tie currently underway in Kumasi.
Dolphins won the first-leg game in Nigeria by 2:0, and with the added own goal, Kotoko will need to score no less than four unanswered goals.
Kotoko's Samuel Inkoom managed to pull one back for Kotoko just before the break, while Eric Bekoe added a second in the 72nd minute.
Kotoko scored a third goal in the 85th minute.
Kotoko's hopes of advancing in the tournament now hang on an additional goal.
The match was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 11, but was put off following a heavy downpour at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Before the match was called off, Kotoko were ahead with one goal scored by Jordan Opoku in the 45th minute.
Kotoko is the only Ghanaian side in continental contention after the exit of Accra Hearts of Oak and Ashantigold SC from the Champions League.
