Residents of Hohoe in the Volta Region are said to be scrambling for gas which is said to be in short supply.
For close to two weeks the area has been without LPG, Joy News’ Volta Region correspondent Agbeko Ben Coffie reported.
The situation was worsened following clashes over the last few days.
According to Ben Coffie, Louis Gas, one of two gas stations in the Hohoe Municipality has received some supply culminating in the struggle by residents to purchase.
It is not clear if the supply will be enough to take care of the hundreds of residents who have rushed out with their empty cylinders.
