It was all tears at the semi-finals of the Luv FM Kiddy Quiz, as the search for finalists saw two brilliant girls who had thrilled listeners and viewers kicked out of the contest.
Emmanuella Nhyira from Nagies Angel and Lynnette Anima Asare of Good Shepherd Prep School fought well in the competition. Unfortunately, it was not enough to upstage their opponents.
Not even encouraging words from the Quiz Master, Nana Gyasi Owusu (NGO), could console them.

In the first contest, Russel Tom Totoe of Martyrs of Uganda School proved too strong for Lynnette Anima Asare.
The three-round competition saw them amass 78 points and 56 points, respectively.
Mary-Ann Odoom of Glory Vel School had a tough time before discharging Emmanuella by a 7-point margin. The score was 72-65.

Russel and Mary-Ann will battle it out for the ultimate prize in the grand finale next week.
