Manna International School has secured a place in the semi-finals of the 2026 Luv FM Primary Schools Quiz after an impressive performance in the first quarterfinal contest.
The school scored 55 points to defeat Jesus Power School, which finished with 44 points, and Crossway Educational Complex, which managed 29 points.

Manna International School has maintained strong consistency in the competition. At the preliminary stage, the school scored 54 points and improved slightly to 55 points in the quarterfinals to secure the winning spot.
Despite the victory, one of the contestants from Manna International School said the team had hoped to achieve a higher score.

“We wanted to progress more. I’m not happy with 55 even though we won,” the pupil remarked after the contest.
Although Jesus Power School did not win the contest, its 44 points keep the school in contention, as the highest-scoring losing school across the quarterfinal contests will earn another opportunity to compete for a place in the semi-finals.

The seventh edition of the Primary Schools Quiz, organised by Luv FM, began on February 23, 2026, with 36 primary schools from across the region participating.
Over three weeks, contestants have demonstrated remarkable academic ability and confidence as they competed in preliminary contests to advance in the competition.
At the end of the preliminary stage, 24 schools progressed to the quarterfinals after emerging from 12 contests.
Each contest features three schools represented by two pupils, competing in three main rounds. The first round is a spelling bee, then a general knowledge segment and a section focused on Ghana Month.
The quarterfinal stage of the competition is being broadcast live on Joy Learning, Luv FM and across various social media platforms from 2:00 pm, starting Monday, March 16, 2026.
The 2026 edition of the Primary Schools Quiz is sponsored by Vitamilk, Cowbell, Twisco, Wintiz Special Gari Mix, Amansie Rural Bank PLC, Bigoo, Verna Mineral Water, Orion Sirus Publications, Best Brain Publications, Bright Future Publications, Ultimate Fashion, Royal Mental Arithmetic System (Royalmas) and Eselali Empire.
The competition continues to serve as a platform to promote academic excellence and healthy intellectual competition among primary school pupils across the Ashanti Region.
