Luv 99.5 FM in Kumasi is `considering another trade fair in the Ashanti Regional capital by the end of the year, following a successful end to its 2015 mid- year Trade and Discount Fair.
The event held at the plush Golden Tulip – Kumasi City Hotel saw exhibitors showcase their products and services to thousands of visitors who had opportunity to buy things at reduced prices.
According to Events and Promotions Executive at Multimedia, Kumasi, Louis Lamis, Luv FM delivered on its promise in the two previous editions of the event.
“I use this opportunity to inform us [exhibitors] that we would be doing a bigger one; even three times bigger than what we have done come December, so watch out for it. We will use all our platforms to push it and make it bigger,” Mr. Lamis emphasized.
The 2015 Luv FM Discount Fair which ended on Sunday was as a huge success for exhibitors, patrons and organizers as players call for more of such events.
The trade and technology discount fair which had Latex Foam Rubber Products Limited as lead sponsor, is part of Luv FM’s corporate citizen initiative to contribute to growth of small, medium and large scale enterprises.
Business operators from across all sectors had the platform to offer products and services at highly reduced prices to thousands of buyers who trooped to the event grounds.
There was also included a seminar on savings and investment, business survival in a difficult macro environment and technology application.
The fashion show, drama skits and children’s playfields spiced up shopping for the four-day event.
Some exhibitors who could not hide their joy as they came face-to-face with buyers called on Luv FM to organize more of such fairs to promote businesses

For first time exhibitors, benefits of the 2015 Luv FM Discount Fair will go down well with them having gotten such platform to interact with buyers as well as potential customers and clients.
“It’s been great being part of this discount fair. We’ve given great discount to people here and they really enjoyed coming here to buy”, another exhibitor said.
