Members of old school associations that have registered for the 8th annual Luv Fm Skuuls Reunion in Kumasi are talking big ahead of the D-day.
Preparations for the northern sector edition of the annual event are gathering momentum as old school folks in Ashanti and beyond reminisce in Luv FM's studios.
Several old school associations from across the country have registered to take part in the Saturday event.
The Baba Yara Stadium will for the second year running host the various sporting and entertaining activities that evoke exciting memories of school days.
Originally conceived to target old school groups from the Northern sector of Ghana, the Luv Fm Skuuls Reunion continues to attract revelers from across the country.
First time participants are pulling out all the stops as they market their schools as the bragging continues unabated among the other old school rivals, but it's all in good fun as people anticipate meeting long lost friends, socializing and networking.
After seven years of meeting the high expectations for the single biggest outdoor event in the Garden City, the 2012 edition promises to be even more fun.
Already, the contest in the gyama chanting prowess has been keen in the studios of Luv Fm.
Event coordinator Nana Benyin Anumel says there will not be a single dull moment and that this year's reunion will feature improvements over previous years' events.
The true old folks would be checking out the Oldies Corner where tunes from live band music will keep them in the old skuul mood while the millennium boys and girls will enjoy Azonto performances by artistes like Buk Bak, Dubble and Dr. Slim.
