Striker Majeed Waris would rather move to Stade Rennes over Lorient.
The Ghana international looks set for a move back to the French Ligue 1 in the coming season.
Waris has been linked with a move to Rennes over the past two months with fresh reports claiming a new bid from Lorient who were recently forced to sell compatriot Jordan Ayew to English side Aston Villa.
But L'Equipe on Monday has reported that the 23-year-old is rejecting a move to the Stade du Moustoir over it's synthetic playing surface.
Waris has struggled to settle down with Turkish side Trabzonspor since moving over from Spartak Moscow last summer.
