Braided belts
Braided belts add texture and shape to every outfit. Pair yours with a gauzy sundress or a classic nautical ensemble (and braided doesn't necessarily mean rope). Look for silky and metallic braided belts, too.
Red belts
There are a lot of competing trends, but you can really stand out with this one. Add a red belt to an all-white ensemble or give your navy and white nautical outfit that extra splash of color. Take it one step further by finding a red belt that features chain insets, buckle straps or other eye-catching details.
Sash belts
Sash belts (aka obi belts) were plastered on the runways. Sash belts consist of little more than material (your choice of fabric, color and pattern) wrapped around your waist to create a focal point. The most modern sash belts should be at least three inches wide for maximum impact.
Gold metallic belts
Cinch your look with a gorgeous gold belt. The newest metallic belts look incredible with fashions ranging from billowy tunics to fitted blazers. If an all-gold belt is a bit much for you, opt for a solid-color belt featuring gold studs, rivets, beads or sequins.
Corset-style belts
Add a little romance to your life with corset-style belt. It's the ideal accessory for edgy steampunk or romantic Victorian dresses. Vintage-inspired features include floral tapestry fabrics, lace ribbons and other delightful details you won't find on everyday apparel. Feeling creative? Research corset images and design your own belt to pair with a favorite outfit.
Belt purse
It's not a fanny pack, but it serves the same purpose. Modern belt bags aren't bulky or pouchy. Instead, designers worldwide have created sleek, luxurious belt purses to provide the ultimate in convenience. Guess this is one of those instances in which belt has to match your purse!
DIY Nautical rope belt
The nautical look is one trend that appears every season. Bold stripes, high-waisted pants, and anchor and rope accessories are a few ways to rock this look.
