Thousands of New Patriotic Party supporters have invaded the precincts of the Trade Fair Centre for a mammoth rally and part two of the NPP manifesto launch in Accra.
Part one of the manifesto launch is over. Party leaders, Alan Kyeremanten, Hajia Alima Mahama, Maxwell Lugudor, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo took turns with promises of what they say are solutions to nagging challenges facing the country.
Part one was meant for the consumption of few accredited people, including civil society groups, representatives of political parties. Now the 'elitism' is over. It is time for a mass rally.

From the African Lake side of the Trade Fair overlooking the La Palm beach to the Kpogas furniture end of Trade Fair heading towards 37, is covered by a sea of human beings clad in a red white and blue colours.
It is a mammoth crowd, similar to pilgrims in Mecca but the atmosphere is different. It is a festival atmosphere now with every inch of space covered and a deafening shout of change is coming.
The NPP flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia wave the thousands of supporters as they make their way onto the dais for the rally to begin. The convoy moves at a snail's pace through a crowd of fanatic NPP supporters anxious for change.
A plus, a controversial musician who endorsed the NPP charges the crowd with a song he composed for the NPP. The supporters sing along. The atmosphere is charged.
Acting General Secretary of the party John Boadu asks party supporters to remain vigilant at the polls and take pictures of anything they find untoward at the polls. He is not a many of many words. He rounds up quickly.
Kennedy Agyepong MP for Assin North, a man notorious for his controversial comments takes the stage. He accuses the government and the EC of plotting to rig the December elections and charges party faithful to be vigilant.
Vice Presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is on the dais with his wife. He has endeared himself so well with the NPP fanatics thanks to his knowledge of economics and his jabs at the president and his vice.
Today is no different. Dr Bawumia says with $20billion, the NPP under Kufuor executed the NHIS policy, school feeding, LEAP, capitation grant and invested in many road and infrastructural projects. However with over $200 billion under President John Mahama all those policies have either collapsed or are near collapse.
His wife, Samira Bawumia with her sweet soothing voice asks the teeming supporters to rally behind the party for victory.
Shatta Wale, a self acclaimed dance hall king, is enjoying a lot of popularity in this year's campaign. One of his songs, Mahama Paper is the signature tune of the NDC and to John Mahama.
However "Kakai" another hit track by Shatta finds space on the NPP campaign itinerary with the supporters jumping and and singing along.
Ex-president John Kufuor announces his presence at the rally ground with his slow, baritone voice. He encourages the NPP rank and file to work assiduously towards winning the 2016 elections.
The rally is gradually inching to a close with one man, Nana Akufo-Addo left to speak. Before he does so however, the supporters are asked to switch on their phone lights to create a spectacle.
Nana Akufo-Addo mounts the stage hand-in-hand with his wife. He allows Rebecca the first bite of a campaign cherry. She addresses the supporters in Ga.
The NPP flagbearer also addresses the supporters in Twi. He is encouraged by the commitment and zeal shown by the supporters. He promises an incorruptible leadership and a transformation of the economy if given the opportunity to lead.
Having narrowly lost in 2008, and in 2012 elections, Nana Akufo-Addo begs Ghanaians to give him an opportunity to lead the country in 2017.
