A 45-year old Preacher, Pastor Kwame Anim has allegedly hanged himself at his residence in Denkyembourso near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The lifeless body of the pastor was found hanging on a ceiling fan in a room where he had spent the night with his wife, Gladys and three children.
Narrating the sad incident to Adom News, the deceased wife who is a trader said she woke up in the early hours of Tuesday morning without her husband being beside her on their bed. She looked up only to spot Pastor Kwame Anim dangling from the ceiling fan in the room.
Mrs. Gladys Anim who could not hold back her tears, narrated how the two had a conversation last night over a trip she had returned from.
As to whether the husband had a mind pressing issue that could have accounted for the alleged suicide, Mrs. Gladys Anim could not tell.
She stated that her late husband was the easy-going type who counseled people and was an active prayer fellowship member. The deceased's wife finds it difficult to tell why her late husband would take such a decision to end his life.
She however says her three children have been informed about about the demise of their father.
