The directive by the Saviour Jesus Christ in Mark 16:15, “And He said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”, seems to be the guiding principle underpinning the mission and vision of the Bible Society of Ghana (BSG).
BSG is a non-denominational Christian organization with voluntary membership and registered under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) with the vision, 'The Bible for Everyone'.
Its mission is to make God’s Word available and affordable, and encourage its use to transform lives.
To achieve this mission, the Christian organisation undertakes various activities. These include; Annual Bible Week celebration and distribution of Bibles to various organisations.
Reports on these activities are put together in a biannual newsletter called, LINK, for ease of reference as well as serve as a one-stop-source of information on the organisation for all stakeholders.
In the May 2021 edition of LINK, activities captured are; 20,000 free Bibles to Security Services in Ghana, 2021 Bible Week Celebration, Inauguration of Northern Regional Oversight Committee, 55th Anniversary Celebration, Staff communion service to usher in 2021 and Launch of Bible Sabbath among other interesting stories.
Also in there, is a Message from the General Secretary/ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rev Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta.
