Award-winning event MC and media personality MC Portfolio has been announced as the official red carpet host for the 2026 edition of the prestigious Ghana Music Awards USA.
The event is scheduled for 8th August 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom in the United States. The appointment forms part of the scheme’s efforts to create an extraordinary experience for this year’s edition.
The decision, described by many as ideal and long overdue, was announced by the board ahead of the nominees unveiling, which is expected soon.
The Ghana Music Awards USA has, over the years, maintained its position as a leading scheme celebrating Ghanaian music and its creatives, while connecting Ghana to the diaspora.
This year’s edition will feature some of the industry’s household names, including MC Portfolio, who was adjudged the 2024 Guinness Ghana MC/Hypeman of the Year. He will lead activities on the red carpet as patrons gather to celebrate Ghanaian music on one of its biggest stages.
MC Portfolio, known for his energetic stagecraft and strong presence within Ghana’s entertainment scene, has hosted and performed at several major events both locally and internationally, earning recognition as one of the country’s most sought-after event hosts.
