Match Day Three of the McDan Open West Africa tennis tournament will serve a redemption day as Ghanaian players avoid some of the casualties of the previous day.
All Africa Games gold medalist Wisdom Na-Adjrago of Ghana has a tough test against Nigerian Wale Babalola who has already overpowered Ghanaian opposition. These and other games will light up be atmosphere.
Added to it will be about 100 students and pupils from schools, the Klottey Korle Sub Metro of the Ghana Education Service. This was facilitated by the tournament sponsors McDan Group, Rush Energy Drink and West Blue Consulting to encourage the young ones to play tennis.
Japhet Bagerbaseh, a tournament favourite will face Benjamin Palm who eliminated fellow Ghanaian Felix Hammond in the first round of the competition.

The ladies will also take centre stage with the likes of Portia Allotey, Natasha Yalley, Emefa Nukpe, Gifty Okantey in action.
Match day two saw some notable defeats for Ghanaian players by their foreign opponents. Nigerian Wale Babalola dispatched Ghana's Andrews Appiah in two sets 7-5, 6-1. Nigerian dominance over Ghana was the order of the day in the game between Michael Moses which ended 6-0, 6-1
Togo's Kantanga John Paul, also made a victim of Ghana's George Nyarko with his strong service and volleying. That's game ended 6-2, 6-1.Another Togolese player, Bernard Alipoe, defeated Ghana's Nii Noi Ababio 6-1, 6-1.
Ivorian Guillaime Kofi fought back in the first set to win 6-4 against Cedric Dzelu. With boosted confidence Kofi placed many power serves and strong fore hand strokes to win the second set 6-2 and book a place in today's quarter finals .
In an all Ghanaian affair Bernard Ashitey Armah defeated former Golden Rackets player, Fred Egyir, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.
