Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo has resigned as Halifax Ladies coach after a year in charge of the Tema-based club.
She explains her decision is to give her enough time to focus on her work as the Black Queens coach and concentrate on her international assignment with CAF and FIFA.
“I have enjoyed my tenure at Halifax, and in particular feel honoured to have been a part of such a supportive team,” Tagoe said.
“If I can be of help during this transition, please let me know. I am available to help train my replacement and will ensure all my reports are updated before my last day of work.
“Thank you again for the opportunity to work at Halifax. I wish you all the best and look forward to staying in touch,”
The Ex-Ghana international replaced coach Paa Nii following his abject performance in the NC special competition.
Her last game on Halifax touchline was a painful defeat to Ladystrikers at the Tema-sports stadium.
She won one match, drew three and lost one in the ongoing women’s premier league.
