Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah has taken a swipe at heads of departments for arriving late at a Peoples' Assembly.
The programme was held at Fawohoyeden in the Asunafo North District of Brong Ahafo.
When the Regional Minister and his entourage arrived at the ceremony grounds, only a handful of the people were present until 10 minutes later when chiefs, opinion leaders and assembly members took their seats.
He said something drastic needed to be done about people's attitude to time if Ghana was to champion the course of Africa's excellence and more importantly as it prepares to celebrate its Golden Jubilee.
Mr Baffour-Awuah said leaders were expected to show good example for their followers to emulate, stressing that these attitude of time wasting could not help the nation's quest to develop in the next 50 years.
