The Yellow Army of the Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change has expressed its appreciation to the movement’s flagbearer, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen on nominating Kwame Owusu Danso Esq. as his Vice Presidential Candidate for the December 7 general elections.
According to the movement, Mr Kyerematen promised them the nomination of a competent young person as his running mate and he has delivered.
In a statement signed by the National Youth Commander and Spokesperson, Duke Aaron Sasu, it said the youth have consistently demanded for an active participation and real representation in Ghana’s political space and for the first time in the history of the Fourth Republic, that call has been answered.
The statement said that in a nation where the youth form a majority of the population, it is only logical that young people are recognised as the majority and most important stakeholders in Ghana’s development agenda.
“It is therefore with jubilation, that, we the Yellow Army welcome the nomination of our fellow youth, Kwame Owusu Danso Esq. as the Vice Presidential Candidate to Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen in the 2024 Presidential Election.
“Kwame Owusu Danso Esq. is a true representation of the story and ideals of Ghana’s energetic youth. Kwame’s experience in the entertainment, sports, Broadcast Media, corporate and legal space makes him an ideal trailblazer of the dreams and aspirations of the youth of this Country,” part of the statement read.
It further said that the nomination of the Kwame Owusu Danso is a vote of confidence in the capacity and potential of Ghana’s young people, hence their determination to ensure the success of the Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen/Kwame Owusu Danso ticket come December 7, 2024.
The statement said that the Yellow Army is ready to hit the grounds propagating the 10-Point Plan for Ghanaian Youth Empowerment under the distinguished leadership of an Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen/Kwame Owusu Danso Presidential ticket.
