Actress and musician, Emelia Brobbey, has revealed that the movie industry is a wonderful space anyone can find themselves in.
Speaking on E-Vibes, the award-winning actress said the industry is the only space that truly entertains and impacts positively on society.
“It’s a great space, and it will only be a great space if one is passionate, serious and look at the business side of it. I act because I love acting, but also because I want to make money out of it. Most importantly, I think it’s a good space that allows us to entertain and impact positively on society,” she told host, Becky.
Emelia Brobbey was born on January 6, 1982, and grew up in Akyem Swedru in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
She completed Akyem Swedru Secondary School and continued to Presbyterian Teacher’s Training College.
After completing Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’, Emelia was posted to teach at Obuasi where she taught Agricultural Science.
She was then introduced to acting. She also holds a Diploma in Journalism, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, and an ICM Certificate in Broadcast Journalism.
She has starred in over 40 movies, including; ‘Asantewaa’, ‘Asem Asa’, ‘Adofoasa’, ‘Seed of Rejection’, ‘Kae’, and many more.
