Head coach of Bofoakwa Tano, John Eduafo, has hailed his side's performance in their MTN FA Cup win over Dreams FC on Sunday afternoon.
The Hunters took the defending champions to extra time and recorded a 2-1 victory at the WAFA Park in Sogakope to book a slot in the final of the cup competitions.
They wouldn't have reached that point without a fight.
Dreams forced extra time after Abdul Jalilu's penalty in the latter part of the second half after Bofoakwa had opened the scoring.
However, Elijah Addai restored Bofoakwa’s lead to make it 2-1 and send the Bono side to the final.
Speaking after the game, Eduafo praised the teamwork of his players.
"It's one of those things in football, sometimes you make tactical changes and you get a positive result. Sometimes, you make tactical changes and it doesn't work well but today, thank God, I had results after those few tactical changes," he told StarTimes Ghana.
"Few of [the players] have had some knocks, we are going to work on them. I am happy because the boys played with character and attitude, especially in the latter part of the game pressure was on the team but the boys stayed disciplined with character and attitude and we won."
After sealing a place in the final, Bofoakwa will now turn their attention to beating relegation and staying in the Ghana Premier League for another season.
They have five games more to save their league campaign.
