Artiste manager BullGod has shared insights on the evolving landscape of music consumption in recent times.
In an interview on Showbiz Review Xtra with DJ Slim, he explained the importance of adapting to the changing digital world of music.
He advised that it is not commercially prudent to spend money on music videos.
“Do not spend time doing music videos in 2025, it doesn’t make sense anymore,” he noted.
BullGod emphasised the diminishing relevance of video content, indicating that "people don't even consume it no more”.
Highlighting how virtual experiences and digital interactions had revolutionized content consumption in this era he asserted visualisers rather do the magic.
"We're in 2025, and if you go into research, even experts in the game will tell you visualizers are more effective,” the Bullhaus boss stated.
He also shed light on the dual nature of the internet, noting that it can be both beneficial and detrimental to artists.
“The internet here is our greatest enemy and our greatest friend. You have to look at it from the angle that would work for you,” he said.
He urged musicians and producers to focus, rethink their strategies and embrace innovative approaches in an ever-evolving digital age.
