Hours after the Grammy announcement of winners with two Nigerian artiste - Burna Boy and Wizkid - walking away with awards, industry players in Ghana discussed ways local musicians could attain Grammy heights.
Participants analysed the generally reserved nature of Ghanaians that makes the artists not push beyond their limits to break into other markets.

Others talked about the media’s over-indulgence of foreign material at the neglect of local content, plus lack of PR and marketing acumen of artists who sometimes don’t see the need to vigorously employ and PR machinery to promote their works.
Tonight, Joy FM Drive Time host, Lexis Bill and other stakeholders in the entertainment industry will take the conversation to another level as they talk about what role government plays in the quest for global recognition.
Join the conversation at 9 pm.
