Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings on Monday signed the Book of Condolence opened in memory of the late President John Evans Atta Mills at the State House in Accra.
Mrs. Rawlings signing comes after her husband signed the Book of Condolence on Friday.
Mr. Rawlings who had being a harsh critic of Mills and his administration was said to have written: Fare thee well Prof. Let's hope we will do better at keeping those with destructive tendencies away and out of the national endeavours. Mrs Rawlings was out of the country when news of the President's passing broke.
She returned to Ghana on Friday July 27.
Mrs. Rawlings contested the NDC’s Presidential Primaries in Sunyani last year where she gathered less than 4 per cent of the votes cast. Since her defeat her view on the Mills administration had not being any different from her husband’s.
