The National Hajj Task Force has set March 13, 2025, as the final deadline date for payment of the Hajj package.
A statement issued by the Chairperson of the 2025 Hajj Task Force, Collins Dauda, said the 2025 Hajj Taskforce had officially announced March 13, 2025.
“No extension will be made to this deadline and therefore both would-be pilgrims and agents are admonished to operate with this deadline in mind as this is in the supreme interest of all," the statement said.
It said this decision follows directives from the Ministry of Hajj and Umra Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aimed at ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage process for this year.
It urged all prospective pilgrims and accredited Hajj agents to expedite payments and complete all preparatory procedures within the stipulated timeline.
It said in its commitment to facilitating a seamless Hajj experience, the Taskforce had implemented measures to assist fully paid pilgrims in acquiring their passports with ease.
The statement said Hajj agents were encouraged to take advantage of this initiative to streamline the process for their clients.
It said in a bid to make the pilgrimage affordable, the Taskforce recently announced a significant reduction in the 2025 Hajj package fee from GH₵75,000 to GH₵62,000 offering the much-needed financial relief to potential pilgrims.
The statement added that the Taskforce remains dedicated to providing world-class services, ensuring that all Ghanaian pilgrims enjoy a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling journey.
