The Member of Parliament for North Dayi in the Volta Region, Mrs Akua Sena Dansua believes she has achieved roaring success as the representative her in the House of Parliament.In her view not only has the constituency gained greater visibility owing to her active participation in the deliberations of the House but also all key sectors such as education, health, employment amongst others have received massive boosts under her tenure as MP.These were contained in statement issued in Accra.Mrs Sena Dansua who has served as minister for, Youth and Sports, Women and Children’s Affairs and currently Tourism lists areas such agriculture, transport and communications, water and sanitation, roads, electrification of communities, poverty alleviation as having received priority attention and judicious application of her share of the MPs Common Fund.To boost tourism in the constituency, the statement said Mrs Dansua as Tourism Minister “Organized a tour for Ambassadors and Heads of Foreign Missions in Ghana to Kpando Tokor, Agbenoxoe, Grotto and Traditional Council grounds to discuss tourism potentials of Kpando District.”As part of her tireless efforts to facilitate development for the area, the MP said she “lobbied for creation of new North Dayi District to ensure availability of resources for development of the People and the area.”In addition, she also “Lobbied for inclusion of North Dayi District in MiDA programme with many development projects.”See below Mrs Dansua’s list of achievements as MP for North Dayi.ACHIEVEMENTS OF HON.
