Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, a member of the Multimedia Broadcasting Company, on Friday donated food items worth about GH¢5,000 to the Muslims Community at New Zongo in Kumasi to support them in their 30-day fasting (Ramadan).
The items included tins of milk, sugar, loaves of bread, fruits and groundnuts.
Mr. Solomon Affum, Sales Manager of the station, advised Muslims to use the Ramadan to promote good relations with other religious bodies.
Sheikh Abdul Mumuni, Chief Imam of the Asawase Central Mosque who received the items, thanked the station for the donation.
