He noted that Mr. Kyeremanten was capable of taking over the mantle of leadership after the end of the mandate of President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Mr. Sarpong was addressing members of the club at a meeting at Old Tafo in Kumasi at the weekend.
He said Mr. Kyeremanten was affable, respectful, honest and sociable and could transform the country.
Mr. Sarpong noted that the club formed early this year, aimed among others at campaigning for the presidential aspirant to enable him win the bid to lead the NPP in the 2008 Election.
He appealed to members of the club to support the aspirant and educate NPP followers about his new vision and agenda for the country
The Chairman on behalf the club wished the presidential aspirant success in his ambition to become the next NPP flag bearer.
