Ghana Football Association chair has given a resounding assurance of victory against Zambia in a World Cup do or die battle.
Kwasi Nyantakyi said with the preparations that have gone into the game, it is only God that can deny the Black Stars victory.
He was speaking in an interview Thursday night.
Ghana has never lost a World Cup qualifier since 2001, and Kwasi Nyantakyi is convinced the rich tradition will continue despite a huge Zambia threat.
Nyantakyi is not perturbed at all by what he describes as “psychological warfare” being waged by the Chipolopolo but stressed the team is focused to overcome the hurdle.
“I believe we have done our work well. Unless the Almighty God decides otherwise, I think we have been compelling enough and deserve a victory tomorrow.”
Ghana needs just a draw to qualify for the play-offs and hopefully their third successive World Cup final. Zambia on the other hand needs a victory to qualify for the playoffs and possibly their first World Cup final.
The game will start at 16:00 GMT, Friday.
