Ghana star Thomas Partey is looking forward to ending a fine season with his first major trophy.
The versatile midfielder has been one of Atletico Madrid’s best players this campaign, helping them reach a third European final in four years.
Partey was excellent in both legs as the Madrid-based club defeated Arsenal in the semi-final to set up a Europa League final date with French giants Marseille.
And having lost out to Real Madrid in his first European final in 2016, the 24-year-old is really determined to help Atleti clinch the trophy on May 16.
“I have a lot of strength and I'm ready to give my all to ensure that Atletico wins the trophy. The team is training hard and we are ready to win the Europa league,” Partey told Asempa FM.
Partey has made over 40 appearances scoring five goals.
