Movie Director Pascal Aka secured a win at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The event held on Saturday, May 14, saw the Gold Coast Lounge (and more specifically Pascal Aka and singer turned actress Raquel) win the Best Soundtrack for Movie or TV Series Award.
Aside from being the director, he was also the musical composer and writer of all the music in the film.
Pascal Aka was present to accept the award. He was accompanied on stage by Zynnell Zuh who is also cast in the film.
The director accepting his award said that it was a great honour for him to have won the award.
Alongside the plaque given to winners, the director was also awarded a cheque of N1 million equivalent to ¢18,630.
Meanwhile, actor Actor Adjetey Anang was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or TV Series Award for his role in ‘Gold Coast Lounge.’
However, he lost the award to actor Odunlade Adekola.
