The pastor and two elders of a church accused of impersonating police to rob people are on the run.
Police in Suhum have picked up the wife of the pastor there for not reporting her husband’s criminal acts.
28-year-old Godfred Opoku, Head pastor of the Adonai Healing Church and two elders of his church have been accused of impersonating police officers and robbing people in the town at night.
They reportedly robbed a driver of a truck carrying dozens of Don Simon drinks last Sunday.
Police say the victims who were not hurt reported the matter.
Police later picked up the wife of Godfred Opoku after they found police uniforms upon a search of their home.
ACP Kwabena Dwamera, the Eastern Regional Police Commander, told Joy News Naomi Tetteh was accused of covering up for her husband.
