For the first time, Ghana's female 'super cop' tells her story, in an engaging conversation with Nana Ansah Kwao IV, the host of Pm Express, on the Joy News Channel on Multi TV.
C.O.P Anin Botchwey rose through the ranks to become first ever female Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D) of Ghana Police, the first female Commandant of the Ghana Police College, the first and also brain behind Women and Juvenile Unit (W.A.J.U) now Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (D.O.V.S.U).
She is also the second female officer to rise to the position of full Commissioner of Police.
Watch how the woman who inspired many in the Service, succeeded in dealing with difficult challenges she faced, including how hard it was for women then to progress in a male dominated profession and some very chilling truths.
For answers to begging questions -What she believes was the reason why she was not promoted? What she thinks of the Police Service today?- tune in into the Joy News channel on Multi TV at 9pm Friday, February 28, 2014 and a repeat at 12 noon, Saturday March 1, 2014.
