As part of the Fetu Afahye celebration, residents of Cape Coast thronged the streets to commemorate the well-known Orange Friday.
Clad in orange, participants walked through the principal streets of the Central Regional capital in excitement.
Some young talents also demonstrated their creative skills by dancing and skating.

JoyNews photo journalist, Sammy Moore was at the scene and captured some moments.

Orange Friday was birthed in 2013. It was organised by Cape 93.3 FM, a Cape-Coast based radio station.

The Orange was adopted from the official colour of the radio station.

Others also believe that Orange Friday was established to educate the residents of Cape Coast the importance of the orange fruit.

Therefore many people patronise the orange fruit.
