The Convention Peoples Party (CPP) as part of its 70th-anniversary celebrations, has organised a breakfast for selected school children with disabilities at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital in Accra.
The party with support from Kasapreko Ghana Limited, Ministry of Trade and Koko King, provided food and various cartons of assorted soft drinks to the children, who were brought from orphanages and special schools across Greater Accra Region.
Popular music group, the Winneba Youth Choir, sang popular tunes that kept the gathering dancing on their feet throughout the programme.
The program was attended by the 2016 CPP Flagbearer, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet; acting General Secretary, James Kwabena Bomfeh; acting Chairperson, Hajia Hamidatu Ibrahim as well as National Women’s Organiser, Hajia Aisha Futa.
